New oil and gas qualification
October 1st 2007 NEBOSH is to pilot a new
qualification aimed at
helping managers and
supervisors in the oil and
gas industry to manage their
health and safety
responsibilities.
NEBOSH selected Petrofac
Training as its partner on
the pilot course.
Leigh Howarth, MD,
explains "We are delighted
that NEBOSH chose to partner
with us on this exciting
development. The pilot
course starts in January
2008 and will be held at our
training centres in Aberdeen
and Sharjah, United Arab
Emirates.
"Initially it will be aimed
at those people who already
hold a NEBOSH qualification to
enable them to 'convert' to
the specialist oil and gas
