April 1st 2008 In August 2008, BS
6651:1999 Code of Practice
for protection of structures
against lightning is being
withdrawn and replaced by
the BS EN 62305 series of
standards on Protection
against Lightning.
This series of standards
covers the protection of
structures, their services and
contents and people within
or adjacent to the
structures.
BSI has put together a
conference to assist all those
responsible for the design,
implementation and
maintenance of lightning
protection to address these
changes.
The conference takes
place on 20th May 2008 in
