Qualify in machinery safety
February 1st 2009

Compliance and safety expert Laidler Associates has announced course dates for the University Certificate in Professional Development (UPCD) in Machinery Safety - said to be the first certification of its kind in the world.

The UPCD was launched recently in conjunction with the University of Teesside, as part of the Laidler training services expansion. It will make use of Laidler's virtual reality technology – putting a fully functional machine into any training room anywhere in the world.

To address the lack of specific training for machinery safety, the UCPD is a qualification that reflects a high level of risk assessment capabilities as well as effective safety training.

The five-day course includes: risk assessment, CE marking and PUWER assessments application of standards.

For further information on dates, times and venues enquire below or visit Laidler on: Stand 10
