Range of courses
February 1st 2009

Health, safety and environmental recruitment and training consultancy Principal People, will discuss the courses which have expanded its reputation into a progressive specialist health and safety training provider when it exhibits at Health and Safety '09.

Manual handling: Train the trainer, DSE assessment and fire safety are all part of the portfolio of training that it delivers to clients and candidates across the UK and the company will be discussing training opportunities and needs from its stand and during a show seminar.

One of Principal People's key Northern Rail, DHL and the SENAD Group were the latest companies to use personalised training material from Scriptographic Publications in 2008.

Scriptographic has been producing paper based training booklets for more than 25 years, and 2009 will be the first full year that its titles are available on-line in a pay per view format. Called Scriptographic Online, the service enables mangers to purchase electronic access to booklet titles for trainees to read wherever they have internet access, at home, at Kimberly Clark Professional, provider of health and safety and hygiene solutions for the workplace, will be at the Health and Safety '09 Exhibition at Sandown Park with its full range of Personal Protection Equipment.

The company offers a comprehensive range of Personal Protection Equipment, including Eye Wear, Coveralls, Gloves and Respirators.

The range of products on show will include the new KLEENGUARD Respirators, with Comfort Straps, which users are said to prefer to traditional headbands. Their adjustable extra wide straps, convex shape and specially designed nose clip mean improved comfort.

Additionally, these respirators are available with dual valves, designed to maximise warm and humid airflow away from the face, reducing fogging of the eye wear. Stand 40 training specialists Frank Bayliss will present a seminar on both days of the two-day event on the importance of training in manual handling. The company will also spark up a series of live demonstrations of fire containment, safety and extinguishing throughout the exhibition.

Principal People also has information on opportunities which exist for some companies to access government funding for training in many significant subject areas and will be discussing this at their stand.
