Short courses on Hand- Arm Vibration
September 1st 2010

The Institute of Acoustics is offering a short course covering Hand-Arm Vibration hazards in the workplace.

The four-day course is available in Gosport, at the Institute of Naval Medicine; in Leeds, at Leeds Metropolitan University; and at EEF centres in Barleythorpe and Sheffield, from Spring.

The certificate course aims to help delegates appreciate the nature of HAV hazards in the workplace; to assess the need to protect employees from this syndrome, and to advise and assist employers about how to meet their legal duties.
