Staying focussed under pressure is Scotland conference theme July 1st 2009 Staying focused under pressure is the
theme of this year’s RoSPA Scotland
Occupational Safety and Health at
Work Congress.
Taking place on Wednesday,
September 23 at the Hilton Glasgow
the conference aims to resource
delegates with the knowledge and
inspiration they need to speak up for
safety during the economic downturn.
For the first time, delegates will be
able to tailor the event to their needs
with three parallel topic tracks
running throughout the day: health
risks at work; managing occupational
road risk; and, “when the rules aren’t
followed”.
In another first, congress, which is
sponsored by Scottish Water Solutions
and is running in association with
Healthy Working Lives, will also
feature a debate on the motion: “This
conference believes that a stronger
regulatory approach is needed to
ensure effective director leadership of
health and safety at work.” More articles from RoSPA: |
