Training tools
September 1st 2009

Power tool manufacturer, Makita has invested in a purpose-built training centre at its Milton Keynes HQ, along with full time training staff, lecture theatre, vibration and noise absorbing training rooms and a structured syllabus for customer-facing staff or site operators.

Correct and Safe Use is the core course that teaches criteria for correct tool selection and highlights safety procedures for these applications to both non-experts and more experienced operators.

Training the Trainer is also a key element in the Makita philosophy.

Certificating end-users' own health and safety trainers to deliver the approved courses expands the skilled knowledge base, raising the efficiency of Makita tool usage, protecting the operator and enhancing productivity.
