White-van roadshow
June 1st 2011

Access solutions provider, Ladderstore, is embarking on a White-Van Roadshow with Working Well Together's Haydock Group. The tour will visit nine sites between 16th and 23rd May in Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.

The WWT Haydock Group's initiative is supported by major local construction companies, the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), IOSH, the WWT Campaign and the HSE. Involving local businesses, construction companies and construction colleges, the initiative's aim is to disseminate best practice at grass roots and reach out to sub-contractors and personnel working at sites such as Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, the new Academy site in Bolton, and the Cooperative's head offices in Manchester.

The roadshows are designed to give free, practical, hands-on experience, advice and training on a number of safety issues.

Ladderstore's involvement focuses on Working at Height with ladder usage and checking advice, as well as a review of safety equipment available such as stand-offs, stabilisers and its ladder tagging system, Ladderlog.
