Wide range of courses
October 1st 2007

Following the introduction of core IOSH and CIEH accredited training courses, Safesite is now one of the companies able to offer a comprehensive range of health and safety training courses run by City & Guilds qualified trainers. IOSH Managing Safely provides managers and supervisors with the ability to tackle health and safety issues in the workplace through the application of recognised management principles. IOSH Working Safely aims to provide staff who have no supervisory or managerial responsibilities with an understanding of how to work safely, and why. The new CIEH courses include the Principles of COSHH, Manual Handling and Stress Awareness, in addition to the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace. This course provides delegates with an understanding of workplace health, safety and welfare as well as training for specific tasks such as manual handling, risk assessments and working at height. Safesite's range of courses are accredited by RIBA and supported by RICS and include training on areas such as asbestos, fire, COSHH, manual handling and working at height. All courses are designed to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of legal duties when it comes to specific health and safety matters and include a short assessment at the end for certification purposes. Courses are run by experienced safety practitioners.
