Free site safety pack
August 1st 2008

Visitors to Health & Safety 08 will be able to pick up, free-of-charge, the latest version of A-Plant's Site Safety Pack, part of the company's Setting the Safety Standard campaign which is designed to help customers reduce injuries by ensuring that their employees operate in the safest possible working environment.

The enhanced Site Safety Pack comprises folders, posters, window stickers, Hand Arm Vibration, Dust, and Work at Height supplements, and a 60-page Health and Safety handbook.

One of the latest initiatives from A-Plant is the 'Be Safe, Be Competent, Choose A-Plant' campaign in support of the HSE's 'Shattered Lives' campaign to prevent slips, trips and falls in the workplace.

A-Plant is highlighting the fact that undertaking a work at height activity requires training in the selected system of work and with any particular work equipment chosen.

The company offers a wide range of powered access equipment and training services and its hire fleet comprises almost 2000 items.

This year RoSPA presented A-Plant with a Gold award for Occupational Health and Safety to reflect the contribution and ongoing support it has provided to the hire industry.
