No unwanted crushes August 1st 2008 When you buy spill
containment equipment, in
particular spill pallets, drum
stacking units and drum
dollies you don't expect
them to collapse or break
under the weight of the
drums.
But this is what could
happen with low grade
polyethylene, according to
supplier of ENPAC Spill
containment products, Forth
Systems.
ENPAC products are made
from 100 % Virgin HDPE
(high density polyethylene)
which is stronger than
medium density and up to
20% stronger than low
density so it takes much
more weight to crush it,
break it or make
it collapse
explains the
company.
"There is much
responsibility on
companies to
comply with
regulations such
as the Control of
Pollution (Oil
Storage)
(England)
Regulations 2001
and The Water Environment
(Oil Storage) (Scotland)
Regulations 2006 and the
penalties enforced by
organisations such as The
Environment Agency can be
very high," explains Stephen
Mansell, of Forth Systems.
"We know our quality
products won't let the
customer down and will
continue to provide a high
level of spill control for
many years." Stand 148 More articles from Forth Systems: |
