Alternative routes to iosh learning
February 1st 2008 As an alternative to the
traditional taught course,
ACT has been offering the
IOSH Managing Safely in elearning
format with
excellent results. A cost
effective way of enabling
managers that need flexible
learning to gain this award,
users are able to start a
programme at any time. This
30 hour package assists users
in meeting the requirements
of the IOSH syllabus and the
final assessment can be done
in their own workplace.
Building on the success of
the Managing Safely, ACT
now offers the 'Working
Safely' qualification in elearning
format. Aimed at
workers from any sector, it
provides grounding in the
essentials of health and
safety. Learning is made up
of 6 parts with opportunities
to test learning and practice
