E-Learning course on noise at work April 1st 2006 A new eLearning course has been introduced by Praxis42.
Developed in response to the new Control of Noise at Work Regulations, the Noise Awareness course introduces employers and employees to the risks from noise exposure.
Mike Stevens, training director, explains "As well as describing the new legal requirements, the training helps employers to establish if they have a noise problem and to understand the hierarchy of control measures. It is a powerful way of educating employees about the hazards associated with noise exposure at work and during their leisure time."
The eLearning package works can be used as a stand-alone course or as a blended learning solution. It can be linked to a learning management system that logs and tracks access and completion of the course.
The company believes this will give employers increased confidence in complying with the new legislation.
