E-Learning in Polish
December 1st 2007 Statistics show that 33 905
Polish workers joined the UK
workforce in the second
quarter of 2007 alone.
With this in mind, Safety
Media has launched its
Manual Handling and Fire
Safety E-Learning courses in
Polish. Both take about
30min to complete and
include a self-test and risk
analysis at the end.
If the user doesn't have
time to complete the course
in one sitting, they can
complete any outstanding
sections the next time they
log in. Each course covers
the key knowledge that a
worker needs in these areas.
More than one third of
over three day accidents
reported each year to the
HSE and local authorities are
caused by manual handling.
The TUC says that training
should ideally be available
in the native language of
the worker if there is any
doubt as to their proficiency
in English.
