The British Safety Council has launched an e-learning version of the established IOSH Managing Safely course. The course, which is intended for managers and supervisors in all organisations across all sectors, provides delegates with sufficient knowledge to be able to manage health and safety issues in their workplace.

Neal Stone, director of policy and research at the British Safety Council, stressed the benefits that this new elearning course offers to managers and supervisors. "This course is being launched at an ideal time. There is a clear business and legal need for all managers and supervisors to have a sound foundation concerning the management of health and safety risks. The programme we are offering to delegates is flexible, easily accessible via the internet 24/7. The training course we are offering has been designed and quality-controlled by IOSH, the biggest professional health and safety body in the world."
