Fire safety seminars
April 1st 2007

Siemens Building Technologies Fire Safety is running a series of free seminars at the Fire Service College in Moreton-In-Marsh.

These day-long seminars will cover a wide range of topics, including the advances in fire detection and extinguishing technology, risk assessments and advice on how best to meet the requirements of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, which places emphasis on the need to avoid false alarms.

Seminar structure and content can be tailored according to delegates' particular interests.

Don Scott, fire engineering consultant at Siemens and main presenter at the seminars, says "Attending delegates will be invited to bring specific materials in with them that we can burn under controlled conditions to ascertain what dangers they may pose."
